Step 7 — Create a Schedule

In order to have the uploaded robot run, you must add a schedule that refers to it. In the “Schedules” tab, click the “ New” button in the upper lefthand corner. In the dialog that appears, change the new schedule's name to “Tip schedule”. Also change the details of the (simple) schedule so it runs every 1 minute. Select both “Use RoboManager Database” and “Use Object Database”, while accepting the default choices of databases.

In the right pane, click the “ Add Robot” button in the upper righthand corner. A new dialog appears, in which you must select the TipOfTheWeekDB robot and click Save. The New Schedule dialog now should look as follows.

Creating a New Schedule

Finish by clicking Save. You will immediately see the new schedule in the “Schedules” tab.

In the “Robots and Robot Logs” tab, you will notice that the new schedule is mentioned in the “Schedules” column. It may be necessary to click the button to refresh the view, although normally it will refresh automatically within a short time.
