Step 1 — Enable Database Logging

By default logging is not enabled when you have just installed Kapow Katalyst. This tutorial will demonstrate the Management Console's Log View, and for this view to work, Database Logging has to be enabled.

Start the Settings application - on Windows, you will find it in the Start Menu. On Linux and Unix, you must run Settings which is found in the bin folder inside your Kapow Katalyst installation folder

Once the Settings application has started, click to the "Logging and Profiling" tab.

Now click the in the Logging section, and select Database.

Configure Database Logging

Click OK in Settings to close it and save the changes.

Database logging is now enabled, and every time a robot is run, information is stored in the database.
